About The Role The role supports corporate finance and regulatory decision-making: building models, analyzing performance, and ensuring reporting aligns with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements. You will work closely with accounting, FP&A, and compliance teams to turn financial data into accurate forecasts, control-ready reporting, and insights leadership can act on. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain financial models in Excel and Google Sheets to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses, reconciling actuals against budget and communicating drivers to stakeholders Support SOX compliance by documenting internal controls, testing control effectiveness, and remediating identified gaps Assist with SEC reporting deliverables, including 10-Q and 10-K schedules, supporting workpapers, and technical accounting memos Analyze revenue, cost, and margin trends using SQL, NetSuite, and Tableau to surface risks and opportunities Partner with accounting managers to ensure close processes, journal entries, and accruals comply with US GAAP Present findings and recommendations to finance leadership in clear, decision-ready deliverables What We Are Looking For 3-6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, audit, or corporate accounting Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls, and SEC reporting frameworks Advanced Excel skills (complex modeling, pivot analysis, lookups); hands-on experience with an ERP such as NetSuite or SAP Strong analytical and communication skills with a track record of producing accurate, deadline-driven work CPA, CFA, or MBA candidacy is a plus Bonus: SQL proficiency, experience with Tableau or Looker, or prior exposure to SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
