Data Analyst

A leading retail client, renowned for its innovative approach in Northern California, is seeking a talented Data Analyst. This company is a key player in the retail sector, continuously evolving and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Role Own analytics and reporting projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to final delivery in Sigma Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL in Snowflake to support robust data pipelines Design and implement data models and semantic layers for business reporting across various departments Build and maintain business-facing dashboards and reports in Sigma, focusing on clarity and self-serve access Validate and QA data throughout the pipeline to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical specifications What You'll Need 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field; retail or e-commerce experience is a plus Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, views, and query optimization Hands-on experience with Snowflake and a modern BI platform (Sigma preferred) Proven ability to design and implement reliable and scalable data models and semantic layers Comfortable owning projects end-to-end and working directly with business stakeholders Experience building polished, user-facing dashboards and reports for non-technical stakeholders What's On Offer Opportunity to work fully remote within a dynamic retail environment Engaging projects with significant business impact Collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth Comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and more Apply via Haystack today!
