SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION MANAGER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION MANAGER in the PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION, MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. You will be responsible for the overall integration of the production effort including but no limited to the overhaul/repair of the aircraft, engines, components, accessories, and support equipment. You will provide direction to all program supervisors and to other personnel directly assigned or identified to support the product. You will proactively look for ways to continuously improve production processed and quality of work within the IPT. You will serve as a key participant in the development of a FRCSW production strategy that serves as the framework for integrating functional activities essential to the production effort and the basis for specific production plans. You will provide technical and administrative oversight to the assigned program team members who may be of various series and grades. You will plan work to be accomplished by team members, set and adjust priorities, and oversee the development of schedules for completion of work. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program and configuration management of overhaul/repair of aircraft, engines, components, accessories, and support equipment; 2) Planning and synthesizing requirements of engineering, logistics, budget, planning, quality assurance, evaluation, industrial engineering; 3) Applying knowledge of the FRCSW financial reporting systems, including indirect and direct budget structures, policies and processes, and ability to execute within budget while managing a highly complex production effort; 4) Applying the philosophy of Continuous Process Improvement to include Theory of Constraints (TOC), Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM), Navy Sustainment System (NSS), and Lean and Six Sigma.
