EPiC Associate Consultant - ServiceNow

Handshake

As an EPiC Associate Consultant, you will be a part of a fast-paced environment helping clients and internal business partners solve complex problems and delivering exceptional results. This role sits where consulting meets enterprise technology: you will learn the ServiceNow platform hands-on and earn your Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential within your first 90 days, training and exam funded by Pioneer. EPiC accelerates how quickly you learn, contribute, and build confidence as a consultant. From day one, you'll do real work with a team that expects a lot and invests in your growth.  You'll contribute to client work early, owning pieces of analysis, slides, and follow-through. You'll build trust through quality, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail. You'll learn by doing with rapid feedback. Project leads will give direct input, and you'll apply it quickly. Your core consulting skills will develop through real work. Your technical skills will develop the same way — in the platform itself, configuring and testing alongside senior consultants, not just describing the work in a deck. You'll be supported by a clear system. A people leader guides your development, a mentor helps you navigate day to day, and a cohort builds connection and accountability.  You'll take on more ownership over time. You'll start with structure and quickly move toward more independent responsibility as your confidence and capability grow. And most importantly, you'll show up as a Pioneer, modeling what it means to be Humble, Hungry, and Connected.  Responsibilities include:  While each day and project will be different, below is a list of some of the typical activities that our Associate Consultants perform on our various project teams:  Working with clients to determine their needs and goals by conducting interviews and surveys  Translate business objectives into requirements to support future-state design related to people, process, or technology ensuring client needs are captured and delivered  Perform primary and secondary research tasks to provide impactful, actionable insights and recommendations  Synthesize complex quantitative or qualitative data sets in a simple, intuitive format, and present findings in a clear and concise manner  Support the drafting and development of all major project deliverables  Assist with critical project management tasks such as project planning and status reporting  Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner  Build positive working relationships with clients and ensure client satisfaction  Proactively cultivate and expand your professional network across clients and internal teams  Help facilitate workshops and training sessions that support user adoption of new systems or processes  Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, business processes, and change management activities  Assist in bridging conversations between business stakeholders and technical teams to design effective solutions  Perform hands-on ServiceNow configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities under the guidance of senior team members, taking on more of the build as your certification and confidence progress  Build working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform — data model, tables, workflows, forms, and integrations — through structured training, sandbox practice, and real configuration work on client engagements  Earn your ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential within your first 90 days and begin Certified Application Developer (CAD) coursework in year one; Pioneer funds the training and the exams  Pick up unfamiliar tools quickly and teach what you learn back to the team — through a demo, a written how-to, or a walkthrough for the client  Apply AI to spearhead innovation on your projects — identifying practical use cases, testing them in the platform, and bringing forward ideas that make client solutions faster and smarter  Qualifications:  Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills  Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively (verbal and written)  Exposure to or coursework/experience in business analysis, process design, or technology consulting  Demonstrated appetite for technical work — you have taught yourself a tool, language, or platform that nobody assigned to you, and you can explain what you built, where you got stuck, and why it mattered  Genuine curiosity about how enterprise systems work underneath the interface — data models, workflows, integrations — and a willingness to get into the configuration yourself rather than hand it to someone else  Comfort being a beginner in public: you ask the obvious question early, say plainly what you don't know yet, and close the gap fast  Any exposure to ServiceNow, SQL, scripting (JavaScript, Python), low-code platforms, or an existing ServiceNow credential is a plus   Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment  Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-changing organizational environments and managing multiple assignments  Adaptability and eagerness to learn new industries, tools, and methodologies quickly  Curious mindset — asks clarifying questions before proposing a solution, and checks for shared understanding  Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization  High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite  Ability to commute to various clients in the metropolitan area this role is based in  Bachelor degree preferred  Location:  This role is based in Minneapolis, MN Pioneer Minneapolis Office: 212 3rd Ave N Minneapolis, MN 55401 Compensation: The expected compensation range for this role will be between $65,000- $70,000 per year
