The Opportunity We’re conducting a confidential search for a Director of Marketing to lead how a growing B2B technology company tells its story, builds its brand, and brings its products to market. The company has sophisticated products and ambitious plans for its next stage of growth. We’re looking for a marketing leader who can turn complex ideas and capabilities into a clear, differentiated story, and build the programs that bring that story to market. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role. You’ll lead marketing across brand, product marketing, content, campaigns, and go-to-market, partnering closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and company leadership. We’re looking for someone equally comfortable setting direction and getting into the work. What You’ll Do: Own our story and brand Lead positioning, messaging, and brand across products and markets. Translate complex products and capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for customers. Shape how the company shows up across its website, content, sales materials, events, and external communications. Develop content and thought leadership that builds awareness and establishes credibility in the market. Drive go-to-market Partner closely with Sales to build campaigns and programs that generate pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and support growth. Lead product marketing, including launches, segmentation, competitive positioning, sales enablement, and GTM strategy. Develop and test programs across content, events, ABM, partnerships, digital, PR, and other relevant channels. Establish clear metrics for marketing performance and use them to determine where to invest. Build and run marketing Serve as a close partner to Product, Sales, Customer Success, and company leadership on major launches, customer insights, and market opportunities. Own marketing priorities and keep the function focused on the work with the greatest impact. Manage and develop internal marketing talent alongside agencies, contractors, and creative partners. Stay close to the work by writing, editing, launching, testing, and iterating alongside the team. What We're Looking For: Strong B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, SaaS, or another complex product category. Experience owning positioning, product marketing, brand, and go-to-market programs. Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how marketing partners with enterprise Sales to drive growth. Exceptional storytelling skills and the ability to make sophisticated products understandable and compelling. A builder mentality, comfortable creating structure, experimenting, and personally getting into the work. Strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a low-ego, highly collaborative approach.
