As a Case Manager you must be highly organized and able to work on a varied caseload, take pride in what you do, and assist the attorney in preparing documents and correspondence as needed.  Responsibilities Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logisticsMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendicesImplement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflowCollect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparationDraft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contractsResearch regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal adviceManage client billing by preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills, as well as resolving billing issues in cooperation with the billing attorneyCommunicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositionsManage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systemsProvide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney’s calendar and making travel arrangements Qualification High school diploma or GEDAssociate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate (preferred)Prior experience as a case manager in a Veteran Affairs department (preferred)At least 1 year of working legal, medical, or social services experience (preferred)Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills #LI-EM1Benefits Morgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
