We are seeking an experienced and strategic for our client in the sector of Automotive Industry. Job Description Manage quality processes end-to-end across casting and machining operations. Manage and improve quality processes related to gray cast iron foundry operations. Conduct root cause analysis of casting-related defects, including porosity, shrinkage, cracks, hardness variations, microstructural issues, and similar quality problems. Analyze dimensional, geometrical, surface, and process-related defects occurring during machining operations. Manage and actively use PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and 8D processes. Plan, conduct, and follow up on process, product, and system audits. Monitor quality KPIs and lead improvement actions to reduce scrap, rework, customer complaints, and process defect rates. Prepare for and support IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 audits, including participation in and management of audit activities. Manage the quality aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and coordinate the preparation of PPAP documentation. Communicate and coordinate effectively on technical quality matters with domestic and international automotive OEM and Tier 1/Tier 2 customers. Ensure effective final inspection and quality control processes for cast and machined components. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in foundry operations, preferably with end-to-end quality responsibility across casting and machining processes. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in gray cast iron processes, particularly in foundry operations. Solid understanding of CNC/machining and final inspection processes for cast components. Practical experience with the IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System. Hands-on experience with PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and 8D methodologies. Experience in process, product, and system audits. Experience in preparing for and supporting IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 audits. Previous experience in the automotive casting industry is preferred, particularly with companies manufacturing brake components such as brake drums, brake discs, or similar parts. Experience in a manufacturing environment where casting and machining operations are carried out within the same facility is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively on technical matters.
