C++ Software Engineer – Low Latency Salary: $180k - $270k Total compensation: flexible – based on experience and seniority A leading quantitative trading firm is expanding its technology team in New York and is looking for a talented C++ Software Engineer to work on high-performance systems supporting global trading strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and work on technically challenging problems where performance, scalability and microseconds matter . The Role Build and optimise ultra-low-latency C++ systems . Develop high-performance infrastructure for real-time trading. Work across C++, Linux, networking, memory and concurrency . Collaborate closely with traders, researchers and engineers. Improve system performance, reliability and scalability. Help build and scale technology within a growing New York team. What We’re Looking For Strong C++ and Linux experience. Experience with low-latency or high-performance systems . Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency and performance optimisation . Background in networking, distributed systems or systems programming is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for challenging technical problems.
