We constantly acquire new skills and learn from our experiences to enhance our collective expertise Job Introduction: The Manufacturing Systems Administrator will provide technical and systems administration support for manufacturing and operational technology systems (including MES, INFOR CMMS, AVEVA PI, PIMS, PlantPAX, TraceLink, NSIDE, and RTMS), supporting the designated System Owner in maintaining system availability, configuration, performance, security, compliance, and lifecycle management. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, IT, Quality, Validation, Facilities, and other cross-functional stakeholders, the candidate will also provide technical leadership and project support for system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and other medium- to large-scale initiatives spanning multiple departments. Job Responsibilities: Support day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance of MES, INFOR CMMS, AVEVA PI, PIMS, RTMS, and associated manufacturing systems, including related infrastructure Troubleshoot system issues, application errors, connectivity problems, interfaces, and integration-related issues, supporting data exchanges between manufacturing systems and other enterprise, laboratory, automation, or IT systems Assist with system upgrades, patches, configuration changes, enhancements, and lifecycle activities, monitoring system health to proactively identify potential issues Coordinate with IT infrastructure, network, database, automation, and vendor teams to resolve complex technical issues, providing off-hours support when required Support incident, problem, and change management activities, user account/role administration, periodic access reviews and audits, GMP and biennial reviews, and system recovery/business continuity/disaster recovery activities per established procedures Apply project management and technical skills to build, modify, configure, integrate, or expand complex information systems, participating in or leading development, testing, implementation, and deployment phases of medium- to large-scale, cross-departmental projects Translate business and technical requirements into system configurations, functional specifications, and test plans, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, manage risks, and deliver project objectives Develop and execute system testing (functional, integration, regression, UAT) and coordinate implementation activities, including deployment planning, cutover, configuration, post-deployment support, and post-implementation assessments Identify opportunities for system improvements, process optimization, automation, and increased reliability Create and maintain system, project, technical, and operational documentation, including requirements, specifications, test documentation, SOPs, and work instructions, ensuring activities comply with applicable policies and regulatory requirements Support GMP, GxP, data integrity, and computerized system compliance, including participation in audits, inspections, investigations, deviations, and CAPAs, and ensure system changes are documented, tested, approved, and implemented per change-control processes Assist with deployment, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of manufacturing hardware (workstations, industrial computers, servers, peripherals, printers, scanners), coordinating with IT, Automation, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, and collaborating broadly with Quality, Validation, Cybersecurity, Business Systems, vendors, and System Owners across these activities Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or other regulated computerized systems, including hands-on administration and support of one or more of: MES/PlantPAX, INFOR CMMS, AVEVA PI System, PIMS/Plant Information Management Systems, or RTMS/Real-Time Monitoring Systems Experience supporting systems in a GMP/GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or similar manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of computer system validation principles, GAMP 5, and data integrity expectations Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, user administration, interfaces, system maintenance, and technical documentation Experience supporting computerized system lifecycle activities, including implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement Experience with change control, incident management, access management, periodic reviews, and audit/compliance activities, including familiarity with electronic records/electronic signatures Experience working with cross-functional teams on medium- to large-scale technical projects, including coordination with external vendors and system integrators Experience setting up and connecting peripherals (Zebra printers, scanners, bench-top scales, pH/conductivity meters, etc.) and supporting manufacturing hardware, network infrastructure, and industrial environments Experience integrating MES and related systems with automation platforms (PlantPAX, SCADA, historians), SAP, LIMS, or other enterprise systems, along with familiarity with databases, scripting, APIs, web services, Windows Server, and virtualized environments Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex system and integration issues, manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment, work independently with an ownership mindset, and drive issues through to resolution This role may occasionally require off-hours, weekend, or on-call support to maintain continuity of critical manufacturing systems Local Hybrid Requirement: Must be willing to be on-site in Norton, MA 3 days per
