Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst Indianapolis, Indiana | Full-time A global automotive and engineering organisation is seeking a Financial Analyst to support manufacturing and bespoke vehicle programmes through financial modelling, forecasting, variance analysis and commercial decision-making. The role will partner with operations, engineering and procurement teams to evaluate product costs, margins and investment opportunities while supporting financial performance and internal controls. Key Responsibilities Develop financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses to support manufacturing and vehicle programme decisions. Analyse product costs, margins, profitability and investment cases. Support annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. Perform variance analysis and investigate key financial and operational drivers. Develop and monitor financial KPIs and management reporting. Partner with operations, engineering and procurement teams to evaluate costs and commercial opportunities. Provide financial analysis to support investment decisions and strategic planning. Assess the financial impact of manufacturing and programme changes. Prepare clear financial insights and recommendations for senior leadership. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and analytical capabilities. Maintain strong financial controls and ensure accurate and reliable financial information. Support alignment of financial processes and reporting with applicable group standards. Contribute to a culture focused on precision, quality and continuous improvement. Requirements Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, management accounting or a related discipline . Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities. Experience with budgeting, variance analysis and KPI reporting. Strong understanding of product costing, margins and profitability analysis. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering and procurement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience working within manufacturing, automotive or engineering environments would be advantageous. Familiarity with structured financial controls and corporate reporting standards. Compensation $140,000 per year Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Work Arrangement: Full-time
