Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant On-site 4 days a week, 1 day remote A large global manufacturing company is adding a Staff Accountant to its corporate accounting team. We're looking for someone one to three years into their career who is already outperforming their peers and wants real ownership early. Coming from public accounting? This is your move from auditing the books to owning them, with busy season behind you. Already in industry? This is a step up in scale: multiple entities, international operations, and work that gets seen by senior finance leadership. What you'll do Own a set of general ledger accounts through month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Analyze account activity and explain what moved and why Support intercompany accounting across multiple entities Work directly with auditors on requests and support Find ways to make the close faster and cleaner What you bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1 to 3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting Solid grasp of US GAAP and the close process Strong Excel skills (ERP experience is a plus) CPA or progress toward it is welcome but not required A record of being the person your team relies on Why it's worth a look A stable global company with room to grow beyond this seat Broad exposure early, instead of years on one slice of the ledger A disciplined close that doesn't swallow your life If you're good at what you do and ready for more, apply and we'll be in touch quickly.
