Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Preschool Montessori Teacher role located in Plano, TX. The teacher will guide children in a Montessori prepared environment, presenting lessons that foster independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth. Daily responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the classroom, planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, observing and documenting student progress, and supporting children through individualized learning paths. The role also includes collaborating with colleagues, communicating regularly with families, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment, and participating in school events, meetings, and professional development activities. Qualifications Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Knowledge and experience in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten readiness to support children’s academic and social-emotional growth. Effective Communication skills for working with children, families, and colleagues in a collaborative school community. Montessori training or certification, or willingness to pursue Montessori professional development. Prior experience teaching in a preschool or early childhood setting, preferably in a Montessori or child-centered environment. Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom that supports diverse learning styles and backgrounds. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred. Capacity to meet physical demands of working with young children (standing, bending, lifting classroom materials) and to follow all safety and safeguarding guidelines.
