Brief Description Job Title: Water Treatment Technician Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 am shift start Compensation: Pay based on experience Benefits: Health Insurance, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off (PTO) About The Role We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Water Treatment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of servicing home water treatment systems. As the primary point of contact on service routes, you will represent our company and brand with high professional standards, delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service across our residential community. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Service Checks: Perform routine system checks, complete filter changes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and execute scheduled preventive maintenance. Salt Delivery & Replenishment: Transport and deliver salt products directly to residential customers, refilling brine tanks and inspecting units during visits. System Installation & Setup: Upon receiving training and approval from the Service Manager, install residential water filtration systems, water softeners, and reverse osmosis units according to company standards and local plumbing codes. Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with homeowners, explain completed work clearly, answer questions, and demonstrate proper system operation. Brand Representation: Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times on job sites and while operating company vehicles. Vehicle & Inventory Management: Keep assigned company service vehicles clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary tools and inventory. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Experience in plumbing, water treatment, HVAC, or general mechanical trades preferred, but not required (we are willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a great attitude). Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a background check and provide a clean driving abstract. Valid Driver’s License: Required to operate company vehicles on assigned routes. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items regularly (bags of salt up to 50–80 lbs, heavy equipment, media tanks) and work comfortably in basements, crawlspaces, and utility areas. Professionalism & Reliability: Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a high level of integrity when working independently on client properties.
