# Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

A Quantum Search Partners client, a PE-backed digital media and publishing company with a growing portfolio of brands and content, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A. The company is expanding both organically and through acquisition, and this is an opportunity to join a lean FP&A team that works closely with the CFO, senior leadership, and the company's private equity sponsors. Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the budget, forecast, and long-term planning process while building the financial models and analysis used to guide business decisions. Responsibilities extend to Board reporting for the sponsors, M&A and treasury projects, and the development of new budgeting and reporting tools. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling and analytical skills, is comfortable working across large and varied data sets, and can translate financial information into clear business insights. Responsibilities Support the annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-term planning process Develop and maintain financial models, including cash flow, scenario, and operating models Prepare monthly management reporting and variance analysis, partnering with business leaders to identify key drivers and trends Support the CFO with Board and investor reporting, including KPIs and forward-looking performance metrics Partner with the Content team on performance analysis and reporting Support M&A integration, treasury, and other strategic finance initiatives Partner with IT systems and FP&A teams to improve processes, data quality, and budgeting and reporting tools Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative field; CPA or MBA is a plus 4+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience Experience interfacing directly with C-suite leadership is critical Big 4, investment banking, or consulting experience is a plus Experience within a private equity-backed company, including Board or sponsor reporting, is strongly preferred Strong financial analysis and modeling skills in Excel, with experience preparing executive-level presentations in PowerPoint Solid understanding of financial concepts, KPIs, and performance drivers Comfortable working with large and varied data sets with strong attention to detail NetSuite, QuickSight, or Power BI experience is a plus Experience in media, streaming, digital content, or a start-up environment is a huge plus Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain financial insights to non-finance stakeholders Compensation $100,000 to $120,000 base annually, plus bonus, long-term incentive, and a competitive benefits package. Hybrid, two days a week in office, based in the Washington, DC or New York City area.
