About the Role Hourly Rate: $80 Contract Duration: October 20, 2026 – Early May 2027 Location: San Mateo, CA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite); Bay Area candidates ok as long as you can meet the in office requirement Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week The Opportunity In this role, you’ll be the strategic voice of the customer, partnering with Product, Design, Analytics, and Growth teams to shape the future of our rewards experience. You won’t just be launching features; you’ll be the architect of the user journey, identifying friction points and turning data into actionable roadmap recommendations. We need someone who can hit the ground running, navigate ambiguity with ease, and own their portfolio from day one. Key Responsibilities Strategic Ownership: Conduct end-to-end audits of key product features, mapping the user journey to identify opportunities for conversion and engagement. Market Intelligence: Serve as the internal expert on member needs and motivations, synthesizing competitive analysis and market research into clear, strategic narratives. Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the marketing lead in product development, coordinating across Engineering, Design, and Growth to drive successful go-to-market strategies. Process Building: Create scalable marketing systems, playbooks, and measurement frameworks that leave a lasting impact on our team’s efficiency. Data-Driven Influence: Partner with Analytics and Research teams to translate complex data into compelling recommendations that secure stakeholder buy-in. Experience: 5–7+ years of professional experience in B2C product marketing, ideally within a consumer tech or app-based environment. The "Consumer" Mindset: You have a proven track record in B2C; recent experience in B2B SaaS is not the right fit for this specific portfolio. Strategic Agility: You are comfortable operating in an environment where priorities evolve, and you have the resourcefulness to drive execution independently. Communication Skills: You are a master of Google Slides and Docs, capable of presenting clear, persuasive recommendations to executive stakeholders. Collaboration: You have a history of building strong, productive partnerships with Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research teams. Logistics: You are based in or near the Bay Area and are ready to be onsite in our San Mateo office four days per week.
