Facilities Cleaner

Description Join Our Team! Full-Time Cleaner Needed JWM is hiring a full-time cleaner to help keep our office and shop areas looking their best. Duties include dusting, emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, and basic kitchen upkeep (no dishes—just counters, sinks, and floors). We offer a supportive team environment, PTO, sick time, holiday pay, and competitive hourly wages. Pay Range: $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience. Become part of the JWM team and help us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace. Requirements Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning — at least 1 year preferred, but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks — lifting up to 25–40 lbs, bending, standing, walking, and repetitive motion. Knowledge of basic cleaning practices — dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting. Comfort working in office and shop environments — including restrooms, breakrooms, and shared spaces. Ability to follow cleaning schedules and checklists — ensuring all assigned areas are completed daily. Attention to detail — ensuring spaces are consistently clean and presentable. Reliability and punctuality — must maintain consistent attendance for a full-time role. Ability to work independently — self-starter who can manage tasks without constant supervision. Basic communication skills — able to report supply needs, maintenance issues, or safety concerns. Understanding of safe chemical use — following labels, PPE requirements, and company safety guidelines. Ability to maintain confidentiality — especially in office areas where sensitive documents may be present. Eligibility to work full time — Monday–Friday schedule or as assigned. Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment (floor scrubber, shop vac, etc.) Willingness to assist with seasonal deep-cleaning projects
