This independent CPA firm is hiring a Tax Preparer who wants to grow. You'll work on both individual and business returns, learn from experienced tax professionals who'll explain the why and not just the how, and take on more client contact and responsibility as you earn it. Why it's worth a look Pay up to $95,000, depending on experience Varied work across individuals and privately owned businesses, so you're not stuck in one lane Real access to experienced tax professionals, not just a stack of files and a deadline More client contact and ownership as your confidence grows A firm focused on developing you into a well rounded tax professional What you'll be doing Preparing federal and state returns for individuals and privately owned businesses Working with partnerships, S corps, C corps and other entities, depending on experience Organizing client information, spotting what's missing, and asking the right questions to keep things moving Talking directly with clients to gather information and resolve routine tax issues Supporting senior team members on more complex engagements and planning work Who fits well here You might already be a Tax Preparer or Tax Staff in public accounting, or earlier in your career with enough hands on experience to work fairly independently. You know your way around individual and business returns, and busy season deadlines don't rattle you.
