AP Physics Tutor

TestPrep is looking for an experienced AP Physics Tutor to provide online instruction to students preparing for College Board AP Physics courses and exams. The tutor must be able to teach all four AP Physics courses listed below and conduct lessons fluently in English: AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based AP Physics 2: Algebra-Based AP Physics C: Mechanics AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Responsibilities Teach AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Deliver online lessons entirely in English Explain both conceptual and mathematical aspects of physics clearly and systematically Teach algebra-based physics as well as calculus-based AP Physics C topics Prepare students for AP multiple-choice and free-response questions Develop students’ problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and quantitative skills Teach appropriate exam strategies and time-management techniques Work with College Board-style questions, past exam materials, and scoring guidelines Identify individual student weaknesses and adapt lesson plans accordingly Assign practice work and provide detailed feedback when necessary Monitor student progress throughout the preparation period Requirements Previous experience teaching AP Physics Strong knowledge of the current College Board AP Physics curricula Proven ability to teach all of the following: AP Physics 1 AP Physics 2 AP Physics C: Mechanics AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Strong command of calculus, particularly for AP Physics C Excellent spoken and written English Ability to explain advanced physics and mathematical concepts clearly to high school students Familiarity with AP exam structure, question types, scoring rubrics, and FRQ expectations Experience with online teaching Reliable high-speed internet connection Suitable computer, camera, microphone, and digital teaching setup Professional and responsible approach to student progress Preferred Qualifications Several years of AP Physics teaching experience Experience specifically preparing students for AP Physics C exams Experience teaching both Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism at calculus-based level Familiarity with recent College Board AP Physics exam formats and scoring guidelines Experience working with international students A strong record of student results in AP Physics examinations Experience teaching Physics at an international school or similar academic environment Position Details Position: AP Physics Tutor Subjects: AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Teaching Language: English Format: Online Schedule: Part-time / Flexible Student Profile: High school students preparing for AP Physics courses and College Board examinations
