Working with schools across the country, both virtual and brick-and-mortar, AXIS delivers remote therapy through a trusted team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, counselors, and evaluators. The result is high-quality care for students across the country, and a strong, supportive community for the professionals who serve them. Teachers for the Hearing Impaired at AXIS play a vital role in helping students access learning by providing specialized instruction and support to students with hearing loss, including deaf and hard-of-hearing students. In a virtual model, they bring flexibility and expertise to schools that need their support, conducting assessments, collaborating with educators, and offering insight that guides real change. This meaningful work has a real impact, done in a way that honors both the student’s needs and the therapist’s well-being. Psychologist Requirements & Responsibilities: Bachelor's degree in deaf education or special education, specialized certification in hearing impairment education, proficiency in ASL and/or other communication methods, and knowledge of assistive hearing technology and deaf culture. State licensure 2+ years of experience in a school setting  Recent clearances or willing to get Professional Integrity & Accountability – Demonstrates ethical behavior, respects policies, and takes ownership of responsibilities Collaboration & Communication – Works effectively with colleagues and contributes to a positive, team-oriented environment Adaptability & Problem Solving – Maintains a growth mindset, responds well to challenges, and can troubleshoot independently Cultural Competence & Time Management – Shows cultural sensitivity and consistently manages time and tasks efficiently Psychologist Benefits: Part time position available during school hours 1099 Contract Positions Competitive Pay Unparalleled Mentorship and Support 100% Remote
