# Human Resources Specialist

ABOUT US MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organization to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 600 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities and 4 factories. We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team at our Gaziemir and Urla factories . Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from relevant departments of universities, such as Business Administration, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, or related fields, At least 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Good knowledge of Turkish Labor Law No. 4857, Social Security legislation, and other relevant legal regulations, Proven experience in timekeeping/attendance tracking, employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, and payroll processes, Preferably experienced in using Logo HR, Experience in recruitment, training, and development processes, Preferably proficient in English, Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team, Strong planning and organizational skills, Competent in preparing reports and presentations. Job Description Support the execution of Human Resources processes in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, Support recruitment processes, Plan orientation programs for new employees and deliver Human Resources presentations, Support corporate development activities, Follow up, report, and archive employee personnel and HR administration processes at the factory, Manage the payroll processes of employees working at the factory, including payroll calculations, performing necessary checks, and following up on relevant legal procedures, Support Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) processes, Prepare reports and presentations as requested by the line manager.
