Logistics Supervisor

For one of our clients operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, we are looking for a Logistics Supervisor based in Gebze, Kocaeli . The role will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth and timely execution of logistics operations. The role will also oversee carrier coordination, transportation rate negotiations, shipment tenders, and the evaluation of logistics suppliers. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs agents, and other logistics partners to coordinate shipments and resolve delivery issues Track shipments proactively, identify delays or discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective actions Manage shipment tenders and negotiate transportation rates in line with company policies and cost objectives Evaluate and support the selection of new logistics suppliers in accordance with established company policies and requirements Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment and logistics records in the relevant systems Coordinate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with applicable international and domestic transportation, customs, and legal regulations Collaborate with warehouse, production, customer service, and other internal stakeholders to align shipping priorities and ensure smooth logistics operations Ensure all logistics activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or related field Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a logistics or shipping role Proficiency in English Knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and Incoterms Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Experience with international shipping and customs clearance Basic knowledge of Excel and logistics reporting tools Team-oriented mindset and proactive problem-solving skills Location & Working Model 📍 Kocaeli – Gebze | On-site
