# Human Resources Manager

Morgan Hunter is partnering with a family-owned organization to hire an experienced HR Manager to join its small, collaborative HR team. This is a hands-on role supporting employees and touching every area of HR, from employee relations and compliance to benefits, recruiting, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate brings broad HR experience, sound judgment, and the ability to balance consistency and compliance with practical solutions for the business. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR programs and provide guidance to employees and leadership across the organization Handle employee relations matters, including coaching, performance concerns, investigations, and workplace issues Support benefits, leave administration, compensation, performance management, training, and employee development Partner with leadership on recruiting, staffing, retention, and talent initiatives Maintain HR policies and practices while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements Review HR data and reporting to identify trends and support business decisions Help evaluate and improve HR processes, systems, and programs as organizational needs evolve Support the overall operations and continued development of the HR function Qualifications Broad knowledge across employee relations, compliance, benefits, recruiting, performance management, and other core HR functions Experience working as an HR team of one or in a role requiring significant ownership across multiple HR areas is a plus Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and stepping in wherever needed HRIS proficiency required; Paylocity experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree or HR certification preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
