Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Wichita, KS, supporting the efficient operation of FirstLight Home Care’s office and caregiving services. This role includes managing phone calls, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. The Administrative Assistant will handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, and preparing basic reports. Daily responsibilities also involve coordinating caregiver schedules, assisting with onboarding documentation, and supporting executive and management staff with administrative needs. The role requires consistent professionalism, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to help ensure a smooth experience for clients, caregivers, and office staff. Qualifications Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, data entry, filing, and document management. Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for interacting with clients, caregivers, and team members. Experience providing Executive Administrative Assistance or support to leadership, such as calendar management and meeting coordination. Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new systems. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy in work, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Customer service mindset with a respectful, empathetic approach toward clients and families. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus. Prior experience in healthcare, home care, or a service-oriented environment is beneficial.
