# Human Resources Manager

Location: Greenville, SC Company: GVL Limo Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: CEO About GVL Limo GVL Limo is Greenville’s premier executive transportation provider, known for its luxury fleet, exceptional service, and rapid growth. With a team of 50 drivers, dispatchers, and support staff, we serve high-profile clients ranging from corporate executives to celebrities and government officials. As we scale, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to oversee all human capital functions and help foster a high-performance, compliant, and values-driven culture. Position Overview The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and executing all human resources functions, including hiring, employee compliance, credentialing, drug testing, training coordination, performance management, handbook enforcement, employee relations, scheduling oversight, and more. You will play a key leadership role in helping GVL Limo continue to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent while ensuring operational and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding Develop and execute recruitment strategies for drivers, dispatch, admin, and operations staff Oversee screening, background checks, interviews, and credential verification Implement structured onboarding and orientation processes Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and DOT/FMCSA regulations Maintain all personnel records, licenses, certifications, and medical clearances Manage and enforce employee handbook policies and updates Oversee DOT-compliant random drug and alcohol testing program Time Off & Scheduling Oversight Track and manage all employee time off, PTO balances, and leave requests Coordinate with dispatch to ensure staffing coverage and PTO planning Monitor overtime and employee availability to ensure proper staffing Employee Relations & Performance Mediate employee disputes and conduct investigations when needed Develop and manage performance review processes and corrective action systems Administer discipline and documentation fairly and consistently Implement employee recognition and incentive programs Training & Development Oversee all employee training programs, including onboarding, safety, customer service, and continuing education Track compliance with training requirements and certifications Coordinate with department leads to develop tailored development plans Culture & Engagement Help build a workplace culture rooted in professionalism, respect, accountability, and service Coordinate team-building events, staff celebrations, and internal communications Strategic HR Management Advise leadership on staffing, compensation, organizational structure, and workforce planning Monitor and report on HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-hire, and satisfaction Stay current with changes to employment law and HR best practices Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience; transportation or service industry background preferred Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements is a strong plus Strong knowledge of federal and South Carolina labor laws Experience managing employee files, training logs, and performance systems Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $44,000–$60,000 depending on experience Why Join GVL Limo?
