Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Swartz Creek, MI. This position supports daily office operations by managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and handling routine clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation. The role includes scheduling appointments, maintaining organized records, and coordinating communication between internal team members and external clients. The Administrative Assistant will help track requests for medical records, ensure timely completion of documentation, and uphold confidentiality and compliance standards. The individual in this role will collaborate with supervisors and other staff to keep office workflows efficient, accurate, and responsive. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage files, data entry, and general office support. Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities for scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and supporting leadership with organized documentation. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for interacting with healthcare providers, patients, and internal team members in a professional manner. Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and basic database use is beneficial. Attention to detail, confidentiality in handling medical records, and familiarity with healthcare or HIPAA-related environments are preferred. Ability to work on-site full time in Swartz Creek, MI, manage multiple tasks, and maintain organized workflows. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or experience in healthcare administration or office management is a plus.
