# Post Surgical RN

Black Women's Mental Health Institute

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse responsible for providing specialized care to patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis. Responsibilities Include Utilizing advanced technology like patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring to enhance patient care. Performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Applying critical thinking, delegating tasks, and managing time effectively in a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Collaborating with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT staff. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure in Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS within 6 months of hire. Preferred: BSN degree. The role offers a full-time schedule with rotating shifts, weekend and holiday rotations, and includes industry-leading benefits such as tuition reimbursement and certification incentives.
