# Mammography Technologist

Role Overview This position performs radiological procedures focused on breast diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while providing compassionate patient interaction. Must perform quality control activities compliant with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA regulations. If required, may utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams. Qualifications & Skills Successful completion of a radiologic technology training program approved by the ARRT. Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire. American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire. ARRT Radiography registration upon hire. Within one year, obtain ARRT Mammography registration. Prior general radiography experience may be required depending on location. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of full-time mammography experience. Key Duties Perform diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures. Ensure image quality and safety standards are met. Participate in quality control and regulatory compliance activities.
