Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to strengthen our brand’s digital presence in the tourism industry and manage our social media communication in a planned, creative, and performance-driven way. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Communications, Media, etc.) Proven experience in social media management, content planning, and digital communication Experience in tourism, travel, or hospitality sectors is preferred. Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and current trends Excellent copywriting and content storytelling skills Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and insights Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, and similar social media platforms Basic knowledge of paid social, reporting, and analytics is a plus Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work collaboratively Responsibilities Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with brand goals and target audience Create weekly/monthly content plans and posting calendars for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Manage the end-to-end publishing process for posts, stories, reels, and campaign-related content Write social media captions and/or coordinate copywriting with internal teams or external partners Ensure all content (visuals, videos, copy) is consistent with brand tone and guidelines Publish content consistently and track all scheduled posts and deliverables Monitor key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and provide regular performance reports Create content ideas around seasonal travel trends, promotions, special days, and destination-focused storytelling Conduct competitor and industry research to identify new content opportunities and trends Collaborate with design, performance marketing, and other teams when needed Propose and execute creative initiatives to increase brand awareness and community engagement
