Hospitalist Opportunity

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established academic health system as a GI Hospitalist in Grand Rapids, MI. Responsibilities include: providing inpatient gastroenterology care, joining a team of 19 physicians and 22 APPs, with coverage shared across hospital-based endoscopy units, and no outpatient GI duties. The role involves participating in teaching and research opportunities, utilizing advanced AI technology to improve workflow, and working within a 1000-bed Level 1 trauma center with specialized programs in IBD, Interventional Endoscopy, and Hepatology. Qualifications and Skills: MD or DO, with a focus on inpatient GI care; excellent communication and teamwork skills; experience or interest in research and teaching.
