St. Charles Campus’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary ICU and Stroke Unit. The unit is a general ICU that includes critically ill cardiac, respiratory, septic, neurological, surgical, neurosurgical, orthopedic, and gynecology patients. Job Details Our ICU RNs Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients, including critical patients coming post-surgery. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. Qualifications Passion for Critical Care Nursing 1+ Years working acute care RN experience 1+ years of previous Critical Care experience preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree strongly preferred Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) are required Salary Range USD $54.97 • USD $64.20 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
