Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview: This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary or accountable nurse, educate patients and families on health, administer medications safely, manage resources efficiently, adhere to practice standards and regulations, participate in governance and quality improvement initiatives, support peer review and evidence-based practices, mentor new staff, engage in ongoing professional development, and perform additional duties to ensure safe and effective patient care. Qualifications & Skills: Must be a compassionate, patient-centered RN eager to learn and adaptable. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Upholds nursing ethics, standards, and legal requirements. Responsible, flexible, and committed to clinical excellence and growth. Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School; current New York State RN license required. Preferred qualifications include a BSN, clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care, CCRN certification, and additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS). Work Environment: Fast-paced clinical and office settings, requiring mobility, standing, bending, lifting, and adherence to infection control protocols. Exposure to cleaning solutions and PPE as per policies. Serves patients of all ages.
