• Home Health Care Location: City of Detroit Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift On-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday Compensation & Benefits: $10,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for full-time benefits The position will be in the city of Detroit General Summary Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will: Deliver impactful OT evaluations and treatment that make a real difference in patients' lives and help them reclaim their independence Build meaningful connections by communicating openly and collaboratively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and team members—keeping everyone in the loop on patient progress and care needs while maintaining thorough documentation Lead and empower your Assistant and tech team members by delegating thoughtfully and supervising with confidence Keep the wheels turning by ensuring all patient billing information is completed accurately and efficiently EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Master's Degree, preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification. WORKING CONDITIONS Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease. Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
