Role Description The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Elizabeth, NJ. This position is responsible for performing janitorial and preparation services in residential and commercial units, including cleaning, touch-ups, and basic upkeep to ensure spaces meet company standards. Daily tasks may include surface cleaning, floor care, trash removal, bathroom and kitchen sanitation, and unit readiness checks before occupancy. The technician will travel between client locations, follow job orders and schedules, use company equipment safely, and document work completed. The role also involves communicating with supervisors and clients, reporting issues or maintenance needs, and consistently delivering high-quality, detail-oriented service. Qualifications Experience with janitorial work, building cleaning, or field service operations, including familiarity with cleaning tools, products, and safety practices. Ability to follow detailed instructions, work from job orders, and manage time effectively across multiple properties or units. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring units are thoroughly prepared and visually welcoming. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday. Reliable transportation to and from job sites in and around Elizabeth, NJ, and willingness to work flexible hours as needed. Professional, respectful communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with clients, tenants, and team members. Basic understanding of workplace safety, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment. Prior experience in janitorial services, property preparation, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
