Senior Accountant

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The senior accountant will handle all accounting operations and verify financial records and transactions. They will utilize hands-on accounting experience and have an in-depth understanding of accounting principles. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Reconcile inter-company accounts GL Account analysis Prepare general journal entries Daily cash reporting Assist with the month-end closing process Assist with special projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in accounting 10 plus years of CPG experience manufacturing a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, experience with SAP a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY No direct reports WORK ENVIRONMENT Office PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the person is regularly required to sit, stand and walk.
