The Role Are you someone who loves building AI solutions, embedding with customer teams, and leading a project through to delivery? Then this is the role for you. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you are the person on the ground making AI real. You will work directly with enterprise customers in-person, sitting with their teams, understanding their critical workflows, designing AI-driven solutions, and deploying agents that operate reliably in production. One week you might be mapping a customer's operations to find where an agent creates the most value; the next you are building, shipping and iterating on an agent handling real work in a live business. You own projects end-to-end, from problem definition and system design through to launch and iteration • and you are accountable for real business outcomes, not just code shipped. What You'll Do Partner with customers to understand operational challenges and success criteria Translate open-ended problems into clear technical designs and implementations Build AI agents that integrate with customer systems and perform real tasks Own deployments, including reliability, performance, and continuous improvement Test with real data, measure outcomes, and iterate based on results Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ship high-quality solutions Contribute to tools, documentation, and best practices that scale customer deployment What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in technical problem-solving roles, this is essential Experience leading or contributing to solution scoping, discovery workshops, or early-stage AI/technical strategy Strong fundamentals in software and system design Clear communication skills and a strong ownership mindset High-agency • comfortable creating clarity, proposing direction, and driving decisions without perfect requirements Experience working across systems, integrations, and data flows Comfort working directly with customers and owning ambiguous problems Genuine curiosity about building AI-powered systems that work in practice Nice to Have Experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles Exposure to AI agents, automation, or conversational systems Experience working in fast-paced start-up or scaleup environments Working Arrangements Based in Istanbul, Türkiye 2-3 days per week on customer sites in Istanbul, remainder flexible Contact us today for immediate consideration, adam.moore@morela.co.uk
