Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU

Role: The position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized cardiac ICU environment, focusing on critically ill patients with cardiac conditions. Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Utilize critical nursing skills to monitor and manage complex cardiac devices and interventions, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps and LVADs. Qualifications & Skills Required: Nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, and ability to work safely and alertly. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience, especially in critical care, step-down, or cardiac units.
