Purchasing Manager

For our client, a leading company in the food & beverage industry , we are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead and manage the company’s end-to-end purchasing activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage both indirect and direct purchasing activities, with a strong focus on indirect procurement. Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with the company’s operational and business objectives. Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes. Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality, service levels, and supply continuity. Manage the procurement of raw materials from international suppliers and oversee related import and cross-border purchasing processes. Conduct commercial negotiations with both local and international suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and market developments. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders. Manage purchasing budgets, reporting, and procurement-related KPIs. Continuously improve purchasing processes, policies, and systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Solid experience in purchasing/procurement management, preferably within food, FMCG, hospitality, or related industries. Strong experience in indirect procurement across multiple purchasing categories. Hands-on experience in direct purchasing and raw material sourcing. Proven experience in international purchasing, including working with overseas suppliers and import processes. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills. Commercial mindset with a strong focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency. Ability to effectively manage multiple suppliers, categories, and priorities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
