𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 | 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼, 𝗖𝗔 | $𝟭𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 $𝟮𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 + 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 Renewyx have partnered with a heavy civil contractor working across public and private infrastructure to bring on a Senior Estimator. Northern California’s heavy civil market is busy. State transportation funding through SB 1 and federal money from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act keep putting highway, bridge and structures work out to bid. Private projects add a steady flow of site and concrete packages alongside it. The firm works across both public and private infrastructure. This hire will price the large concrete work that wins those jobs and build the client relationships that bring in the next ones. The role is on-site, with a choice of two offices: one in the South Bay and one in the Greater Sacramento area. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲: The Senior Estimator will prepare and lead estimates for heavy civil projects from quantity takeoff through to bid submission, across public works and the private sector. It’s a senior, client-facing role with a business development side. You’ll build and maintain client relationships, find new opportunities and play a direct part in winning the work you price. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 5+ years of heavy civil estimating experience across public works and private projects A track record on substantial concrete work, such as highways, bridges or other infrastructure Strong communication skills and a record of building client relationships that bring in new business Able to work on-site in the South Bay or the Greater Sacramento area 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲: Working knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid or HeavyJob, used on the larger bids Experience and connections in the Sacramento market 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿: $150,000 to $200,000 base salary, with flexibility for the right candidate Permanent, full-time position On-site, South Bay or Greater Sacramento, CA Health, dental, vision, 401(k) and life insurance The chance to own estimating and client relationships on large public and private infrastructure work If you have a heavy civil estimating background with large concrete work and a sales side, we’d like to hear from you.
