# Accountant - CPA Required

Securiport

Securiport is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with an active CPA license to support financial reporting and internal controls, global reconciliations, and payment operations. This role will prepare quarterly financial summaries and variance reports, reconcile monthly expenses and revenue, and execute domestic and international payments, including wire transfers and foreign currency transactions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with international accounting operations, and a commitment to accurate reporting and financial controls. Responsibilities Quarterly Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial summaries and variance analysis reports, explaining key differences between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods. Global Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly expenses across international operations, ensuring accurate coding, allocation, supporting documentation, and timely resolution of discrepancies. Revenue and Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile revenue and expense accounts to the general ledger, investigate discrepancies, and prepare necessary adjustments. Payment Execution: Prepare and execute approved payments, verifying payment details, supporting documentation, and required authorizations. Wire and Foreign Exchange Transfers: Coordinate domestic and international wire transfers and foreign currency payments, confirming beneficiary information, exchange rates, fees, and settlement details. Month-End and Quarter-End Close: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial close. Financial Controls: Follow established approval procedures and maintain complete records of reconciliations, payments, and transfers. Audit Support: Provide documentation and respond to requests from internal stakeholders and external auditors. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and payment efficiency. Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Demonstrated experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Experience preparing quarterly financial summaries and variance analyses. Experience processing payments, wire transfers, and foreign currency transactions. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and internal controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Strong attention to detail, analytical judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing deadlines and communicate effectively with domestic and international teams. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience supporting multinational organizations or multiple legal entities. Experience with multicurrency accounting and global expense reconciliation. Familiarity with cash management, banking platforms, and treasury operations. Experience supporting external audits and improving accounting processes.
