# Engineer - Off-Wing (Workscope) Propulsion Engineering, MSP

How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) This position is for an Engineer within Propulsion Engineering supporting the MSP Engine Shop in an off-wing workscope role. The position supports all engines overhauled by the shop, including PW2000 and CFM56-5A engines, by providing technical direction, maintenance engineering support, and workscope development for inducted engines. Provides powerplant engineering support for all engines overhauled in the MSP Engine Shop, including PW2000 and CFM56-5A engines Assists maintenance with all tasks requiring engineering support, including troubleshooting, technical evaluation, repair development, and disposition support Provides oversight and technical direction for MSP inducted engines, including creation and management of engine workscopes Supports engine test cell findings by evaluating results, identifying required follow-up actions, and providing technical guidance to maintenance Develops repairs to engine components, including exhaust nozzles and other related hardware, as needed to support safe and efficient shop execution Provides engineering insight to maintenance in support of current shop activity and future engine shop capability expansion efforts Partners with maintenance, planning, and other stakeholders to support safe, compliant, and efficient overhaul execution What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
