Electrical Sales Engineer

Company Description Marintek is one of the leading recreational and light duty commercial marine equipment distribution companies in Turkey with a distribution portfolio of more than 16.000 SKUs. Our company has a hybrid sales team consisting of regional and product line sales reps. Role Description Currently we are looking for a sales leader in our Marine Electrical Products department. This department is in charge of organizing sales, marketing and after sales of; • Power generation products – mainly diesel marine generators • Power conversion and distribution products – mainly inverters and chargers • Solar charging systems • Electrical Trolling Motors • Chartplotters and Fishfinders • Power distribution equipment Qualifications Candidates should; d emonstrate proficiency in Sales Engineering and Sales, translating technical requirements into commercially viable solutions and • hold a University degree in Electrical and/or Electronical Engineering • have excellent command of written and spoken English • in depth interest and understanding of marine power systems to be able to devise systems in collaboration with our customers and suppliers and draw up offers • have excellent people skills with an emphasis in customer satisfaction in relationship to the dealer network, OEMs and yards • should be able to check and approve installations as well as attend commissioning sessions • should be able to organize and follow up after sales effort and coordinate feedback with our suppliers • organize order planning and inventory control • should be ready to travel where and when necessary Things to remember; • This is an onsite job and Marintek offices are in Kartal, Istanbul. • Experience and track record in the field is highly preferential. • Apply with cover letter and resume explaining your knowledge and/or experience • Processing time is a minimum of 3 working days after Job listing closes.
