Let's build space, together.  About the Role  We are seeking mechanical interns to join our 2027 Winter class (Jan-March 2027). Our interns receive high ownership and guidance with challenging and meaningful projects that are critical components to the success of our mission. You will partner with and learn from top professionals in the aerospace industry.  This will be a 10-12 week internship in our facility in the greater Seattle area. You’ll be in the same location where we are pulling in our structures, mechanisms, propulsion, life support systems, avionics, power systems, thermal systems, software, and associated testing. If you are driven, passionate, collaborative, hands on, and want to grow your technical skills – join us and help enable our expansion into the solar system.  Internship Disciplines  Mechanical Test Engineering  Motor Control Engineering  About You  You’re a successful candidate if you are a giver, not a taker and have a desire to support your team in all the areas to mission success. The strongest candidates have appreciation for the physics underlying engineering while also seeing their developments built with their hands and bias to action, testing, and execution.  Basic Qualifications  Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.  Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a mechanical or electrical engineer (junior standing or higher) or a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.  Available to work full time while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.  Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Basic electrical engineering
• voltage, current, resistance, power, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws  Desired Motor Control Engineering Skills  Basic electrical engineering
