Job Summary Aaratech Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst – Healthcare to transform clinical, claims, and operational data into insight. You will build quality and utilization reporting, support value-based care analytics, and deliver findings that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency — always within HIPAA compliance. Key Responsibilities Gather, clean, and analyze clinical, claims, and operational healthcare datasets using SQL and Python. Design and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for utilization, cost of care, and quality measures. Support quality reporting programs — HEDIS, CMS Stars, and value-based care metrics. Analyze claims (837/835), eligibility, and EHR/EMR data to identify cost drivers and care gaps. Ensure all data handling complies with HIPAA and organizational privacy/security requirements. Collaborate with clinical, operations, and IT teams to support data-driven decisions. Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in healthcare (provider, payer, or health-tech). Strong, hands-on SQL skills — complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization. Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau, plus advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas). Hands-on experience with healthcare data — claims, clinical, EHR/EMR, or quality reporting. Strong analytical, data-storytelling, and stakeholder-communication skills. Tools & Technologies You Will Use Analytics & querying: SQL (SQL Server, Oracle), Python (pandas, NumPy) or R. BI & visualization: Power BI (DAX, Power Query), Tableau, Excel. Healthcare data & standards: HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, 837/835 claims formats. Domain systems: Epic (Clarity/Caboodle), Cerner, or other EHR reporting environments; cloud platforms such as Snowflake or Azure health data services. Preferred Skills Knowledge of HEDIS, CMS Stars, risk adjustment (HCC), or population-health analytics. Experience with SSRS or automated reporting pipelines. Familiarity with statistical analysis for outcomes or utilization studies. Certifications such as Microsoft PL-300, Tableau Desktop Specialist, CHDA, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are a plus. About Aaratech Inc.
