The Opportunity Asseta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to report to our Lead Software Engineer and Chief Technology Officer. You'll design and build the features at the heart of the Intelligent Family Office Suite™, owning meaningful product areas end-to-end. Working closely with product and implementation teams, you'll ship production software that directly shapes how clients manage their accounting and investment operations. As a Senior Software Engineer, You Will Design, build, and ship features across the platform, from backend services to polished user-facing experiences Own significant product areas end-to-end, scoping, implementation, testing, and delivery Build and maintain integrations with banking and third-party systems Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate actively in code review Collaborate with product and implementation teams to turn family office workflows into reliable software Contribute to architecture decisions and help continuously improve engineering practices Help uphold high standards for security, performance, and data integrity across the platform Qualifications 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software Strong full-stack skills, with proficiency in Python, modern API design, React, and TypeScript Experience building scalable, cloud-native SaaS products, ideally on AWS Solid understanding of databases, distributed systems, testing, and secure coding practices Ability to work independently, own features end-to-end, and collaborate across functions Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience in fintech, accounting software, or family office/wealth management is a plus Compensation and Benefits Asseta offers competitive compensation along with a benefits package that includes: Base salary of $150,000–$225,000 Equity plan eligibility Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Unlimited paid time off Conference sponsorships and training opportunities Frequent company off-sites and team-building events On-site at our New York City headquarters
