# Architect/ Java Developer (70001)

Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related technical area
• 8+ years of experience with design and development of software primarily using Java technologies: Java SE, JEE, JPA, JAXB, JMS, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, XSD, XML, WSDL
• 3+ years of experience with design and development of web services – REST, SOAP based
• Experience with XML, XSD, JSON based design and development, and parsing XML and JSON from Java applications
• Experience with object-oriented design and development, and a good understanding of principles of service oriented architecture
• Experience working with RDBMS and SQL, and working knowledge of web and application servers
• Some experience working with GUI technologies – Javascript, AJAX, JQUERY, HTML, JSP, ADF
• Experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems as a development and deployment environment Nice-to-have:
• Knowledge or experience with networking concepts and technologies is a plus – L2, L3, TCP/IP, SNMP
• Knowledge or experience with virtualization technologies is a plus Note: This is a 6 month Contract-to-hire role and Client will provide sponsorship if required for qualified candidates. - "All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines".
