Automotive Customer Service & Parts Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC 28216 Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $55k - $60k About the Position We are seeking an experienced and professional Customer Service Representative to join an established automotive products manufacturing and distribution company in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, knowledge of vehicle makes and models, and experience handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Receive and manage inbound customer calls and make outbound calls in a friendly, professional manner. Assist customers with product inquiries, order placement, and order processing. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Research automotive parts and products to ensure accurate order entry. Respond to customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Provide accurate product availability, pricing, and order information. Collect, verify, and enter customer account information into internal systems. Assist customers at the will-call counter. Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs. Support customer retention and satisfaction through excellent service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience, preferably in an automotive-related environment. Knowledge of vehicle makes and models is required. Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional telephone etiquette. Strong customer service, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Ability to learn specialized automotive products through on-the-job training. Strong work ethic, dependability, sound judgment, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Willingness to assist with various office responsibilities as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
