# Big Box Scanner Associate

BIG BOX SCANNER ASSOCIATE JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt JOB OVERVIEW: MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings Search products online Take and crop photos for online listings Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals Perform any other tasks as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS: Availability to work on-site. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift Must be comfortable with web- and browser-based software (Google/Amazon) Must be tech-savvy Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time Must be able to follow written directions and company policies High School Diploma or equivalent preferred BENEFITS: Healthcare after 60 days of employment Weekly paychecks Employee credit each week to bid on our items after 60 days of employment 401(k) with employer match after 90 days of employment Employee Referral Program 5 days PTO after 90 days of employment MAC.BID is an equal-opportunity workplace.
