Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a corporate accounting team. This is a hands-on general accounting position with significant exposure to intercompany accounting, allocations, reconciliations, expense management, and multi-entity accounting. This role would be particularly well suited for an accounting professional who is technically strong, comfortable working across multiple entities, highly proficient in Excel, and naturally interested in improving processes through technology and automation. Responsibilities Perform general accounting activities for multiple operating companies and affiliated entities. Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and allocations across multiple entities. Record and allocate corporate expenses, including corporate credit card activity, to the appropriate entities. Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unusual items. Support accounting for capital expenditures, including recording and maintaining related activity. Review and process employee expense reports and ensure expenses are accurately coded and allocated. Maintain accounting records for several smaller entities with real estate holdings. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close process. Assist with maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities and business operations. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, reduce repetitive manual work, and improve efficiency. Leverage Excel, AI tools, automation, and other technology to improve analysis and day-to-day accounting workflows. Take on additional accounting responsibilities as experience and capabilities grow. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CPA candidate; who would like to pursue their CPA Prior experience in public accounting/audit, corporate accounting, or a combination of public and private accounting experience. Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing or manufacturing adjacent environment. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and manage competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to dig into issues and find solutions. Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience. Experience with intercompany accounting and allocations.
