About the role Our Nashville clinic opened in March 2026 and has grown significantly in a short time. This is a new, growth-driven position, not a backfill, and you'll be joining a clinic where demand for care is already strong. We're looking for an experienced APP to practice at the top of their license in a supportive, evidence-based addiction medicine model. You'll join two other APPs as part of a multidisciplinary clinic team that includes three therapists, a medical assistant, an LPN, a Peer Recovery Specialist, and a Clinic Manager. A Medical Director is available for collaborating physician support. You're helping shape the future of addiction treatment. A day in the life Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30a–5:00p CT, with a daily morning team huddle 8:30a-9a. No nights, no weekends. Protected midday break: A one-hour block in the middle of the day. Patient visits: Initial visits are 60 minutes; follow-up visits are 20 minutes. Panel size: Maximum caseload of approximately 80–100 patients, so you have time to build real relationships and deliver thoughtful care. Why Steadfast? Comprehensive medical and/or psychiatric evaluation & management experience in substance use disorder treatment, preferably in an outpatient setting. Demonstrated ability to work independently and confidently manage a full patient panel with minimal ramp-up time. Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities. Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members. Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Physical Requirements Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods while conducting patient visits, charting, and team collaboration. Frequent movement throughout the clinic to interact with patients, team members, and equipment. Ability to operate standard clinical and office equipment, including computers, medical devices, and phones. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., medical supplies, patient records, small equipment). Visual acuity and manual dexterity sufficient to perform medical procedures, assess patients, and use electronic health record systems. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone, including during emotionally charged or crisis situations. Must be able to respond quickly and calmly to urgent or emergency situations in the clinic. Location: 1900 Patterson St Nashville, TN 37203 Salary: This is a full-time, W2 position offering a salary of $130,000 - $145,000, commensurate with experience with a 5% monthly performance based bonus and $2,000 sign on.
