# WORKFORCE READINESS SPECIALIST

United States Fleet Forces Command

You will serve as a WORKFORCE READINESS SPECIALIST in the MANPOWER AND PERSONNEL DIRECTORATE of COMNAVSURFLANT.
You will develop, coordinate, and implement workforce readiness plans aligned with Department of the Navy (DON) strategic priorities, workforce policies, and command requirements
You will develop and maintain individual development plan (IDP) processes that help employees and supervisors identify required competencies, career goals, and developmental actions.
You will coordinate with COMNAVSURFLANT managers on various administrative personnel related programs.
You will track completion of mandatory, mission-essential, and role-specific civilian training requirements and report deficiencies to appropriate supervisors and leadership.
You will identify barriers to civilian training completion and effective performance management and recommend practical corrective actions to leadership.
You will prepare clear, accurate correspondence, decision memoranda, briefing materials, and executive summaries on workforce readiness issues.
You will develop reports, dashboards, briefing materials, and recommendations addressing civilian training readiness, employee development, and performance-management status.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting in the administration of training programs, tracking personnel compliance data using databases, and drafting basic reports or communications regarding workforce development. Experience evaluating workforce development programs, analyzing compliance metrics to identify training gaps, advising supervisors on civilian development policies, and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Waypoints. Experience designing comprehensive workforce readiness strategies, executing large-scale human capital initiatives, briefing senior leadership on readiness trends, and interpreting complex federal personnel policies.
